STRIPZOL-2

STRIPZOL-2 is a solvent type, non-flammable, non-corrosive paint stripper designed to remove lacquers, varnishes, enamels, primers, and various other organic coatings from metallic and non-metallic surfaces. Removal of paints by STRIPZOL-2 is much more economical and simple than sand-blasting.
STRIPZOL-2 contains an excellent combination of penetrants and emulsifiers which accelerate the paint stripping action. It effectively removes multiple coats of paints from metallic substrates without adversely affecting the base metals. It is viscous in nature and hence can be easily applied by brush to vertical and horizontal surfaces with minimum loss.
USES :
1. For removing stoved enamel coatings from ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
2. For removing primer cum paints from motor vehicles.
3. For removal of multiple coats of paint from Rail Coaches, Bus Bodies, Truck Bodies, Ships, hulls, etc.
4. For removal of enamels, lacquers, and certain polyurethane paints safely and economically from metal surfaces of piston and jet aircrafts.
5. For removing powder coatings.
6. For removal of various organic paints from storage tanks, pipe-lines, reaction vessels, large structures like offshore platforms and various other machineries and equipments.
7. For removing paints from wood, glass, concrete, ceramic surfaces.
8. For removal of coatings by brush application, where dipping application is not feasible or economical.
APPLICATION :
STRIPZOL-2 is to be used as supplied without mixing or diluting with other chemicals. It is designed for use at room temperature and should never be heated.
STRIPZOL-2 is applied by brush, mop or swab and allowed to stand for 10-60 minutes depending on the type and thickness of coating to be removed. When coating begins to blister, flush off with high pressure water jet.
In certain cases more than one application of STRIPZOL-2 may be necessary. Once the paint softens, scrub with a wire brush and/or scrape paint with a sharp object. STRIPZOL-2 may not be effective in removing certain types of paints or coatings.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
1. Apron, gloves, eyeshields should be worn while working with STRIPZOL-2.
2. If skin or eye contact occurs, flush immediately with plenty of fresh water.
3. Use adequate ventilation if used indoors and avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of vapours.
