ASHOWET

(General Multi Purpose Cleaning, Wetting and Foaming Compound)

The above product is most suitable for large scale general cleaning purpose in domestic as well as for Industrial & shipyard cleaning. It is highly effective for cleaning of Metallic Surfaces as well as floors, wood work, textile uphilstary, carpets, plastics, tiles and for many other miscellaneous uses. It is also used in canteens and catering establishments kitchens for cleaning of utensils as well as crockeries.

USES IN ENGINEERING INDUSTRIES :

The main use of ASHOWET are in degreasing and cold pickling process as a wetting and foaming agent and also used in soldering fluxes. The addition of ASHOWET in acid pickling process used on iron and steel and general cleaning of copper and copper alloys. The primary object is the removal of oxide scales as well as water scales and rust.

ASHOWET is active wetting agent & hence it is used in some electroplating baths. It reduces the surface tension and prompt complete wetting of the electrodes by the electrolyte.

The addition of ASHOWET to soldering fluxes of Zinc Chloride/Ammonium Chloride type has the effect of reduction surface tension considerably thus better prevention into seam and joints and aiding the removal of greasy films.

ASHOWET can be used with greatest advantages in aqueous alkaline degreasing operation used in the Industries such as for washing drums and other production items in 1^st spray cleaning operation, electrolytics degreasing etc. It is recommended to use 0.5% to 1% alongwith the alkaline chemicals.

CLEANING STRAMMERS, SHIPS, BARGERS ETC. :-

ASHOWET is not only soluble in drinking water but also in high saltish water & thus makes used in cleaning of docks, ships, floors by addition of 1% of ASHOWET in sea water. For cleaning of carpets & upholteries, more concentrated solution upto 10% is prepared in order to avoid excessive soaking. The solution for cleaning of shipboards may be applied by means of sponge or piece of cloth squeezed out in the solution of ASHOWET. It is also used in laundry by mixing it with a stock soap solution in sea water but final rinse must be done in fresh water.

CLEANING RAILWAYS :-

For cleaning of interior coach floors, walls, ceilings, windows, lather cloth and all painted surfaces can be cleaned effectively by using 0.5%  to 1% of ASHOWET in water. Outside surface of bogies or wagons can also be cleaned by using 2 to 3% solution of ASHOWET which removes dust, dirt and coal particles striking on the painted surfaces.

There are other uses for ASHOWET in the Cement & Concrete Industry, in paper & textile processing and in the Rubber Industry mainly as wetting, foaming and dispersing agent and its use is recommended from 0.5 to 5% concentrations.
